Thomas Crapper Oval Toilet Seat (Oak shown) This shape of toilet seat was first introduced around 1895 but was still in production through to the 1920s, until we at Thomas Crapper re-imagined it in the late 1990s. The Thomas Crapper Oval shaped seat is suitable for both high-level and low-level WC installations. These seats are exact replicas of an original that we found featured in one of our historic catalogues. The Oval seats are available in Oak, Mahogany or Walnut timbers, together with a selection of painted colours. Our oval seat is supplied with Polished brass or Silver coloured hinges. Note : The silver coloured hinges are designed to complement Chrome or Nickel plated bathroom fittings
