Each dome begins life as a traditional glass demijohn, once used for storing and fermenting liquids. We cut, shape and finish the glass by hand, preserving its gentle curves and subtle character. Each one carries small marks of its previous use — tiny ripples, faint air bubbles, a slight variation in thickness — the quiet evidence of a life before this one.The dome sits on a solid hardwood plinth, turned and finished to hold it securely while allowing heat to dissipate safely. When placed over a lit pillar candle, the glass diffuses the flame and creates a warm, intimate light — ideal for table settings, evening wind-down, or as a simple daily ritual.As each piece is handmade and reclaimed, no two are identical.
